Skid Row is an American rock band band, formed in 1986 in Toms River, New Jersey. They were very successful in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with their first three multi-platinum albums. In their years of greatest success the band consisted of Sebastian Bach (vocals), Dave „The Snake” Sabo (guitar), Scotti Hill (guitar), Rachel Bolan (bass) and Rob Affuso (drums). As of 2010, the band consists of Sabo, Hill, Bolan, Johnny Solinger (vocals), and Rob Hammersmith (drums). At the end of 1996 the band had sold 20 million albums worldwide.

In February 2013, Skid Row announced that they had signed with Megaforce Records. It was also announced that their upcoming release, entitled United World Rebellion: Chapter One, would be released on April, 16 as an EP and not a studio album, with several other EPs being released within the following 12-18 months. In addition, a sample of a new track entitled „Kings of Demolition” was also released.

In early February 2014, the band returned to the studio to begin work on United World Rebellion: Chapter Two. The release date for new EP is tentatively set for June 2014. 😉

Steppenwolf este o formatie de hard rock celebra la sfarsitul anilor ’60. Grupul s-a format in 1961 in Los Angeles din vocalistul John Kay, chitaristul Michael Monarch, basistul Rushton Moreve, claparul Goldy McJohn si tobosarul Jerry Edmonton, dupa dizolvarea grupului The Sparrow din Toronto, Canada.

Trupa a vandut peste 25 de milioane de discuri in intreaga lume, cu 8 albume premiate cu aur, 12 single-uri in Billboard Hot 100, dintre care sase in primele 40 si trei in primele 10. Printre cele mai cunoscute cantece ale trupei se numara “Born to Be Wild”, “Magic Carpet Ride” si “Rock Me”.

Trupa s-a bucurat de succes mondial intre 1968 si 1974, insa din cauza certurilor si conflictelor s-a schimbat componenta formatiei. Astazi, John Kay este singurul membru ramas din formatia originala, jucand rolul de solist vocal al trupei timp de peste 40 de ani.

Nirvana a fost o trupă de muzică grunge rock fondată în 1987 în Aberdeen, statul Washington, SUA.
Trupa a început să devină cunoscută în „mainstream”-ul muzicii rock mulțumită piesei „Smells Like Teen Spirit” de pe albumul lor din 1991 „Nevermind” . Tot mulțumită acestui succes au devenit populare și alte trupe de „grunge” precum Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, sau Soundgarden. Astfel, rock-ul alternativ a fost introdus masiv în mass-media americană de la începutul anilor ’90 ai secolului trecut.

Lana Del Rey ( Elizabeth Woolridge Grant ) este o cântăreață și compozitoare americană care și-a făcut debutul discografic în anul 2010, odată cu lansarea albumului Lana Del Ray A.K.A. Lizzy Grant. Discul nu s-a bucurat de succes, însă Lana avea să câștige notorietate un an mai târziu mulțumită piesei „Video Games”. Bucurându-se de susținerea publicațiilor online din întreaga lume, Del Rey a obținut în octombrie 2011 un contract de management cu casa de discuri Interscope Records, care s-a angajat să distribuie cel de-al doilea album de studio al artistei – Born to Die (lansat pe 30 ianuarie 2012).

After „The Hunger Games” lost a knock-down, drag-out fight at the hands of Robert Pattinson fans and the indie surprise „Cosmopolis,” „Catching Fire” has risen from the ashes — and 10 million votes — to claim this year’s title as the most anticipated movie of 2013. The victory, however, does mean a disappointing end for „The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones,” the hotly anticipated YA adaptation and the rookie star of the bracket.

Sam Claflin, one of the newest cast members to join the series, shared his excitement about the Movie Brawl victory exclusively to MTV News. „I’m so happy and proud to say I’m a part of ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,’ ” he said. „Just want to say a big thank you to all the fans worldwide for voting. I’m thrilled to know they are just as excited as I am for the next chapter.”

This year’s journey to victory was no cake walk for Katniss Everdeen and the rest of the tributes. Though the movie wiped the floor with first-round opponent, „After Earth,” it faced a fierce battle against „The Host,” ultimately besting Stephenie Meyer’s sci-fi flick by taking 54-percent of the total votes. From there, „Catching Fire” moved on to the most heated matchup of the Brawl, this one against another YA franchise player, „Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.” After millions of votes, the surprise powerhouse only trailed „Catching Fire” by less than 4,000 when the semifinals polls closed, ending a hard-fought battle and dashing the dreams of Lermaniacs everywhere. It seemed that the Jennifer Lawrence-led follow-up would have to fight for every victory until the end.

The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones

Once the second consecutive trip to the finals was confirmed for „The Hunger Games” franchise, that’s when the real battle began. In a tournament that notched 10 million votes, the results pointed to a clear, 100,000-vote win for „Catching Fire” over „The Mortal Instruments.” The strong showing from the Shadowhunters proved that the YA adaptation is a force to be reckoned with.

Cica auzise melodia asta in drum spre facultate si nu stia cine o canta… culmea…nu retinuse un vers si ,desi, stia cine o canta ,nu-si amintea…a trebuit sa caut acul in carul cu fan, mi-a spus decat ca e veche…
Normal ca eu am stat pana la 2:00 sa caut melodia, si nici atunci nu dasusem de ea, iar peste doua zile ma suna si imi spune ca a gasit-o …Eu-„Glumest? Daca iti spun ca acum cateva zile o ascultam !!!” 😆

Chiar am avut o zi proasta , ma rog, aproape proasta :))

Proasta pentru ca a trebuit sa merg prin ploaie un km si cativa m.  de la scoala pana acasa ,si am ajuns f-l-e-a-s-c-a 😕 din cap pana in picioare :))

Situatia mi-a cam amintit de ultima parte de videoclipului, numai ca,in cazul meu, nu a venit nimeni cu umprela, iar de masini nu mai zic… „ziua perfecta” ! 😥
